Tour Guide & Route Itinerary

High Altitude Drama on Two Wheels

Bandarban represents the highest riding terrain in Bangladesh. Rising from Bandarban town, the legendary Chimbuk-Thanchi Highway snakes through cloud-kissed ridges past indigenous Marma and Bawm villages to Nilgiri Army Resort.

The Ride to Thanchi

Continuing beyond Nilgiri towards Thanchi opens up one of the most cinematic descents in South Asia. Gaze down upon the sparkling Sangu river carving its way through towering mountain slopes. Early winter morning rides reward riders with dramatic white cloud inversions below your handlebar level.

Important Biker Advice

Ensure your engine oil is fresh and brake fluids are topped up. Hill gradients reach up to 18-20% on several switchbacks. Keep headlights on at all times in fog.

Rider Safety & Route Advisory

Use lower gears (2nd & 3rd) on descents; do not ride in neutral; beware of sudden cow crossings on blind curves.

Frequently Asked Questions

Foreign passport holders require prior authorization from the District Commissioner (DC) office in Bandarban.
Yes! 125cc to 160cc commuter and sport bikes handle the climb with ease as long as the rider uses correct lower gearing.
