Honda NX200 Adventure Touring Motorcycle Officially Launched in Bangladesh
Bangladesh Honda Private Limited (BHL) has officially launched the Honda NX200, marking the brand’s long-awaited entry into the adventure touring (ADV) motorcycle segment in Bangladesh.
The launch event took place on Saturday, 20 December 2025, at Hall 4, ICCB, in the presence of motorcycle enthusiasts, media representatives, moto-vloggers, and influencers.
Senior officials including Minoru Katu, Chief Officer of Honda Motor Co. Ltd, Susumu Morisawa, Managing Director & CEO of Bangladesh Honda Private Limited, and Shah Md. Ashequr Rahman, Chief Marketing Officer of BHL, attended the ceremony and addressed the audience.
Before the formal unveiling, attendees observed a one-minute silence in memory of Osman Bin Hadi, who recently passed away.
The Honda NX200 is powered by an air-cooled, 4-stroke, single-cylinder, 2-valve, 184.4cc engine with PGM-FI fuel injection, producing 16.5 horsepower and 15.1 Nm of torque.
The motorcycle comes equipped with assist and slipper clutch, dual-disc brakes, and multi-channel ABS, enhancing safety and control.
Designed for long-distance touring and adventure riding, the NX200 features upside-down (USD) front suspension, an upright ADV-style handlebar, and multi-purpose tires (110/70-17 front and 140/70-17 rear), making it suitable for various road conditions across Bangladesh.
The official price of the Honda NX200 in Bangladesh is BDT 3,15,000.
The launch has been positively received by riders, especially touring and adventure enthusiasts, as the Bangladeshi market previously had very limited officially available ADV motorcycles.
Many believe the NX200 fills a crucial gap by offering a reliable, brand-backed option in this growing segment.
Honda is also expected to ensure strong after-sales service and spare parts availability, which could help the NX200 quickly gain popularity among Bangladeshi riders.
Motorcycle enthusiasts are advised to stay connected with Bdrider and other platforms for further updates on the Honda NX200 and upcoming launches in the local market.
